Growing White Radish or Daikan – Another Super Food

In the video below I show how I grow white radish from seed to harvest. I would recommend you sow the seeds further apart, as they have a high germination rate. Sometimes known as sinigang radish or daikan radish, it contains only 16 calories per 100g. Vitamins include, vitamin C, potassium, copper, and folate. Daikan also contains compounds such as glucosinolates, which act as antioxidants and have been shown to help prevent the onset and halt the progression many types of cancer.
