In the video below I describe this controversial Purple Ghost (Purple Bhut Jolokia) hot pepper. It starts out it’s life with a purple flower, then a small purple fruit, before growing to a large ghost pepper. It then turns yellow/cream before ripening to it’s final red color.
These Purple Ghosts are not as hot as standard red Bhut Jolokia, but they retain the flavor of the original.
